Bio-degradable vs Degradable – The eco friendly pet owner

It's becoming more and more important that we take the right steps in looking after our planet. It may not seem like much, but making sure that the products you buy & use are environmentally friendly, can help to make a huge difference in reducing waste. It also decreases the amount of products that end up in landfill, and in turn, do our bit towards climate change. Here are our tips on how to be a greener dog owner.

What's the difference between degradable. Biodegradable & compostable products?

Degradable products refer to all products in existence. Degradable means anything that can be broken down either biologically or chemically.

BIGDEGRADABLE

Biodegradable products can be broken down by bacteria & organisms, hence why biodegradable products are kinder to the environment.

COMPOSTABLE

Compostable products contain materials that have been certified to break down completely into non-toxic components (water, carbon dioxide & bio mass). These components will not harm the environment as they contain no harsh chemicals.
