Is your riding hat up to standard?
According to the BHS, from January 2023 Riding hat standards PAS015:1998 and SNELL:2001 will no longer be recognised as up to current safety standards.
Highway Code changes for equestrians.
As of the 29th January 2022 the highway code has been updated and vehicles must now pass horses at no more than 10mph. For more information on the new changes, visit the Gov.uk website

New online welfare training platform for pig producers
A new online welfare training platform for Red Tractor assured pig producers will launch in March to help them meet a new requirement of the revised farm standards introduced last year. Farmers will have three months from the 1 March launch date to complete the welfare training, which is run by the AHDB.
