Retail Sales Assistant – Part Time
We have a position for a part time sales assistant to work in our Country, Equestrian, Agricultural Store in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. This post has become available due to a member of our team moving out of the area.
Hours
Monday 8 to 4.30 7.75 hours
Tuesday 8 to 4.30 7.75 hours
Alternate weekend (Pattern 1st & 2nd August 2026 15th & 16th August 2026)
Saturday 8 to 5 8.25 hours
Sunday 10 to 4 5.5 hours
Ideally this role would suit someone interested in equine, pet and agriculture. Our business has been built on customer service, and the team take pride in their work. We enjoy sharing knowledge with customers offering advice and support. As well as the day-to-day stock replenishment, there will be the need to assist with in store merchandising, assisting customers to their vehicles with goods. This is a physically demanding job with lifting bags of mainly 20kg.
Accuracy at till point – we have many different aspects to handle at the till, whether we are dealing with account customers, delivery orders, online transactions, animal medicines and chemicals so a person with the ability to accurately record this information is key.
